How does it work?
Each curriculum level contains a selection of teaching units (each designed to be delivered across 6 individual lessons) that are specifically constructed to meet the learning requirements at the right level of challenge and stretch for pupils as they move through the different curriculum levels.
We have also sub-divided each level into subgroups to provide a further level of differentiation in levels of challenge and stretch. Categorising our units into subgroups makes the picking of units easier and more effective for all teachers as they build the right learning pathway for the classes in their schools.
EYFS & KS1 offers a Starting Off and Moving On level. KS2 offers an Early Language, Intermediate and Progressive level

Planning
If you follow our suggested unit planning example (see below), your pupils can meet and exceed all of the required Statements of What Matters, Descriptions of Learning and Progression Steps for the Curriculum for Wales.
To create and download a unit planner for your school, please login to the website and click on the 'Unit Planning' button on your dashboard.
